"This is a review of two halves. Lovely little cottage in a great location but it now looks a bit tired and the smell is"

The property is in a great location close to the amenities in the heart of Whitby. The cottage Is well equipped and the beds and linen provided is lovely. The property has been renovated to a high standard although there are things that let it down.

The carpet in the lounge is dirty There is a smell when you walk up the stairs as well as in the bathroom

The location was excellent. Cottage so comfortable And pretty. Well equipped, home from home! Beds super comfy. Furniture super comfy! Dining area great. Loved the whole place and experience.

"It would have been brilliant if it was warmer"

Brilliant but no heating worked on an app thing Alexa was no help and I noticed that the doors upstairs were upside down we are all over 70 and can’t understand an app

Good location and nicely decorated throughout to a good standard

There was a smell of sewage in the house, especially when going up stairs the stainless steel was streaked on cleaning

"Great base for exploring Whitby town."

Nice modern cottage, great base for exploring Whitby. Situated in the town itself its very handy for shops, take aways & pubs.

The property could have been cleaned better. The cottage was up a snicket on a steep incline.

No toilet paper and also no parking permit so had to park over the other side of shitby
