Guest Villa Hakone Yumoto 201

Location was great. Close to station.. Was well equipped and had everything we needed. We enjoyed out stay.

The location of this property was close to the train station and would suit a larger group wanting to stay. The host was good with communication and kind enough to let us drop our bags earlier so we could get out and explore Hakone which was a beautiful area in Japan.

There is some traffic noise which starts quite early in the morning from the road along the side. The loft doesn't enable you to stand up. The roof is very low in this section of the accommodation.

The location was slightly away from Hakone-Yumoto station (about a 5-minute walk), but it's a very quiet neighbourhood so it was really nice. The apartment was very spacious.

The stairs were a bit narrow going up to the apartment, so just be mindful if you are travelling with large luggages. Again - it's a 5-minute walk from the station, so be prepared to wheel your luggages to the accommodation (which was not an issue for me)

We enjoyed our stay so much! Great location next to the train station and to the supermarket. The villa was designed beautifully in a Japanese style

Firstly the location is great to stay in Hakone as very nice to have all of the restaurants and train station on doorstep. The apartment was perfectly functional for what we needed. Great check in and directions - made it so simple.

No where to sit in evenings, so we ended up sitting on futons. There is an odd dining room table and floor chairs/cushions which isnt comfortable at all, I would suggest a proper sofa be put in its place to appeal to more tourists.

Kitchen had good appliances and cookware if you are cooking for yourself. It is pretty close to the train station. The owner was responsive when we had an issue with the washer.

The WiFi was spotty. Extremely noisy neighbors partied half the night on a Wednesday night!

Loved this little town. The walk to the villa was close and easy from station. Host was a great communicator. The villa was a little dated but very comfortable.

Small complaint: Didn’t like that the washing machine was coin operated. This was not a cheap stay and I think they could include the washing machine for free at that rate. Hence did not use it.

location is very quiet, about 6-7 minutes from Hakone-Yumoto station. Convenience store just around the corner. Clean, full range of appliances, check in was easy, host reponded to messages very quickly. Full met our needs and plenty of eating options around the station

Great location and perfect with kids.
