Amazing New Arcadian Centre - 1BDR - Balcony & Parking

Carpark provided underground carpark.

Getting the fob was inconvenient, involved having to go way out of my way and had to return it there too. Most hosts at least let you leave the key in the apartment and the cleaner will go with their own. Especially as there was no actual key but a digital panel where I had to enter a code, which was very difficult because it always took ages for the screen to come on. Very worrying when you work at night and want to enter the apartment quickly. Also, I did not like that owner was watching on the ring doorbell (which he told me as I spoke to him regarding safety issues as the code could have been shared with anyone) definitely wasn't happy with that at all! Security in the building assured me they are watching the corridors too and I was welcome to review footage if I had any concerns. Regaring location, takes ages to walk to the flat once in the building, I didn't like Especially at night.

Clean and good size. Comfortable and convenient location.

Bed too small. No sink plug or tea towels! Strange when there is a cocktail maker and all the equipment on the table! 😳TV terrestrial channels unobtainable (aerial?). No bath mat. Bath very slippery when showering. Several ceiling lights in the kitchen area not working.

Good location, comfortable interior.

Standard of maintenance could have been better, 3 out of 4 lights not working, fridge was “ leaking” as needed to be defrosted and missing sink plug.

Access to the private car park was very useful. I was able to get from the car to my flat in a short amount of time once I understood where to go.

The street which the balcony looks onto was incredibly loud and distracting in the early hours of Friday and Saturday mornings. Cars constantly beeping drunk patrons stopped me from getting any sleep between 12-6 am. Seeing as I travelled for work it would have been nice if the property had mentioned this occurrence so I could pack earplugs accordingly Getting keys and finding the location of the flat was not very straightforward

The location was amazing and it was a lovely size for a couple. The parking was really easy to access and the staff was really helpful.

Due to its location in the city centre it can be a bit loud at night but that didn't bother us at all.

The property is clean, convenient and the heater is good because I am very particular about the heater. And they have washing machine and dryer too👍 Shah is very helpful and very kind👍

The apartment was spacious and perfectly furnished with anything needed

The building itself is located in the heart of the Chinese quarter and the area is not so clean and doesn’t look particularly safe, although we didn’t have any issues. The interior of the building is extremely shabby, quite smelly, with stained horrible carpet: quite a contrast to the pleasant interior of the apartment….
