The apartment was lovely clean had everything you needed the host Nikki was very helpful to beds there so comfortable you should be so proud of your apartment it’s beautiful xx

The Nest is ideally located in Whitby to reach all the attractions.

The only challenge was car parking as we had to park the car 10 mins walk from the apartment.

We have stayed in many places in Whitby over the last 25 years and this has definitely been the best. The accommodation is spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, a great shower and amazing views across the rooftops of Whitby. It has everything you could possibly need to enjoy your stay with modern decor and lots of little gifts from the host . The location is great and very central but it was very quiet once inside.

Well equipped and perfectly located duplex apartment. The decor and fixtures are modern whilst the building is probably hundreds of years old, therefore low ceilings 🤕, no problem for me , I'm 5'7". Whitby has plenty of bakeries, restaurants and coffee shops, so you don't need to cook for yourself. The kitchen is however a great area to knock up something if you want to save some money. An all round lovely apartment which I'd recommend.

Realise access stairs might not suit all but the views across the rooftops are well worth it!

We loved the comfort and style of the apartment. The bedrooms and bathroom felt luxurious. The kitchen was modern and had everything you could need. The living space was stylish and comfortable. The owners provided food basics and also some delicious treats. Fantastic!

Stairs are steep and would be a struggle for some, but the apartment itself is so lovely. Don't be put off by exterior and entrance hall. Having no control over heating was a pain as you have to contact owner to turn it up. That said, they responded immediately

It was our first trip to Whitby so the location of he Nest was perfect and the layout suited us brilliantly having the two bedrooms

The steps up and down were a pain to be honest but mainly because I am asthmatic and the winds had stirred up my breathing problems

Well to start - before we even got to the apartment I was instructed via email that I needed to complete an ID check giving certain details including my driving licence as photo id. Well that was a first for me. Then to top it off they wanted a £200 deposit as well. Now I’m sure it’s all in the small print somewhere but I would expect to see a banner on booking.com stating security check and deposit is required on this property - if it was I would have picked one of another hundred options on the site. So I’m now feeling aggrieved but to late to cancel, as I was kindly reminded. Gaining access was easy but you will be instructed to visit apartment 1 to ‘check in’. This not not true! I found out later I was being vetted. We had our little maltipoo dog (Boris)no bigger than a cat (I need to mention that it was just me and the wife in a 2 bed property). I was then harassed with 5 emails during my stay regarding the dog and what I needed to do when I left including time, removal of all rubbish, and that I owed them £55. Fine but with us not using one bedroom they were saving loads of money on cleaning. As they had my £200 deposit, i have no alternative but pay. You will see others comments here on the communal stairs to the property - but we also had an issue with the second floor stinking of marijuana - so in summary - nice apartment but I think the owners are managing the lowest common denominator of clientele and completely lost sight of offering a relaxing and comfortable stay. I just felt I was being watched all weekend. I suppose me writing this has left myself open to another long winded email from the owner justifying themselves, so that’ll be 7 plus by the end of this saga
