GBLocation was very good. Very close to the harbour and restaurants. Staff was friendly. Windows were extra soundproof so we didn`t hear anything from the streets or surroundings. It was close to the centre but still it wasn`t on the main flow where tourists walking so it was quieter.
AUThe room, the style of the boutique hotel, the service, the helpful advice and restaurant bookings, the delicious and ample breakfast and in the evening the drinks menu and music under the stars by the pool!

GBWe had such a wonderful time during our three night stay here. The room was lovely and we felt so incredibly welcomed. Breakfast was yummy and the location is amazing! The owner and manager were both so willing to help and make our stay as incredible as possible.
The parking the hotel offers is very expensive (although it did seem to be a secure covered car park). We parked in a large public car park instead (zone 3 near the Lidl) which was €12 a day, although it was a 10 minute walk away.
DEThe staff was exceptional, really serviceminded and helpful. Super clean, cozy balcon with a great view and a nice “garden” with pool. I would without a doubt recommend this place if you visit Makarska.
DEThe location was very convenient. It was in the middle of the small harbour town of Makarska, however you have your privacy and quiet sitting in the small garden by the pool. 30 steps later, you are in the middle of the town with lots of shops, restaurants, etc. The room we stayed in was very charming, spacious, clean and comfortable. The sheets and towels smelled so nice. The architect (who we also met) turned the stone building into a modern looking small hotel while keeping the authenticity. The host/owner really goes out of his way to take care of the guests and make sure there is nothing missing. The breakfast was excellent too.
NOMe and my mother had an amazing stay at this hidden oasis in the middle of the old town in Makarska. The manager and staff where all very kind and helpfull! I love to stay in smaller hotels since the atmotsphere is so much better, and this gem is no exception! Can highly reccomend this beautiful and friendly botique hotel to everyone! Would love to come back in the future.

NZThe location couldn't be more perfect, right in the old town, and the fact that it also had a swimming pool, fantastic! Situated right above Kalalarga St, which has some great restaurants and really good bars to have a drink in to wind the night away, Casa Columba is a relatively new edition to Makarska, so if you are looking for something quintessential this is it, I would recommend anyone to stay!
