USCasa Columba is a beautiful boutique hotel located right off of one of the most charming streets in Makarska. It’s an easy 5 minute walk from the main bus station, making it an easy spot to travel in and out of Makarska. While it’s tucked away in a quiet corner, it’s only a short walk to great restaurants, stores and beaches. The adults-only hotel is beautifully renovated, and very charming. The rooms are spacious, well appointed, masterfully decorated, exceptionally clean and incredibly comfortable. The host, Dino, clearly took a lot of pride in crafting an oasis with this entire space. He, Yan Yan, and Eddie were welcoming and kind, and as a solo traveler I felt both safe and incredibly comfortable. I have to call out Yan Yan in particular for being especially thoughtful, professional and warm. He really helped set a positive tone at the start of every day with exceptional service at breakfast and throughly the day with thoughtful suggestions and recommendations. I can’t say enough about how wonderful he was - his energy was a cherry on top of an already lovely stay. I look forward to recommending Casa Columba to friends and family, and returning again one day!
GBGreat location in the resort, fantastic staff. Big 10/10 for Yan-Yan who couldn’t do enough for us from the minute we walked in the door, as were Dino and Gayle. Room was immaculate, super comfy beds, amazing walk-in shower. If we return to Makarska we will be staying again.

Only one thing. A sunbed by the pool would have been great. That’s the only tiny thing. The local restaurants are spectacular. Breakfast is simple and delicious.
AUEvery at Casa Columbo was perfect. The hotel is in a great part of town. It was superbly decorated and very clean. The owners and staff couldn’t do enough for us. I wished we stayed longer.

PLI highly recommend this place! Our stay was absolutely fantastic – the location is great, close to everything you need, and the overall atmosphere was wonderful. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and they truly take care of every little detail to make your stay perfect. It’s a great place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Would definitely come back!

Clean modern spacious comfortable well appointed. excellent breakfast. garden and pool area are lovely! only 100 meter walk to the water & promenade with lots of restaurants. elevator is amazing to help you with heavy suitcases! The Host Dino is wonderful. I can't say anything bad about this place, it's awesome!! I would come stay again.
HRA well designed renovated building in the heart of the town. The cherry on the cake was our host Dino. Being in the travel industry for more than 18 years, I've learnt that the human factor is one of the most important aspect to inhance an experience. Dino not only did it, but exceed it.
