Staying at Hotel Pasillo Rholyn is kind of like staying at your grandma's house. The decor obviously had the owner's personal touch. The entire place is compact, but very homey and comfortable. My 2nd floor room had 2 twin beds and a tiny bathroom. There was no window but the room had an excellent fan, the bed was comfy, and best of all, it was dead quiet at night. I especially liked the electronic lock on the door. The roof terrace is large and well-furnished for eating or lounging. The lovely staff accommodated me with breakfast served at 6am, due to my early shuttle to GUA! The meal was delicious and filling. I would definitely recommend this small hotel for a charming budget stay in the heart of Antigua.

Location, stuff, design

Rooms smell hopelessly moldy which is a health concern. (Most accommodations are like this in Antigua)

The service is exceptional. The decorations are very authentic and like you have Guatemala in your room and outdoor areas. The breakfast is like you are eating from your grandma’s home delicious and filled with love. The moment I arrived it felt like family .

I like everything from the hotel.

The personnel was super friendly and I am so grateful for it.

But the facilities are terrible. The rooms are super small and don't have windows. It's not enough air to breathe and fans are not helping enough. You almost don't have a place for your staff. The hot water is a lottery, as it could stop functioning while you are in the shower.

I liked the friendly staff, location, rooms and terrace. Would stay there again absolutely. They helped me about everything.

They did not have hairdryer.

The staffs are super nice, especially Luisa. She even helped me to pack when I needed extra bag. The room is really comfortable. The furnitures and decoration with a touch of classis Antigua. Also the whole place smells so well. Breakfast was huge.
