Superior 1-Bed Apartment with 2 Sofa Beds Sleeps 6

The modern interior, friendly host. Clean and homely. Kids loves it.

Loved everything

3 comfortable beds. Good facilities. Location handy for centre but also bang in the industrial estates so feels a bit dodgy at night.

2 uncomfortable futons. Front entrance door not locking and someone got into our apartment at 3am this morning with my two kids sleeping there. Ground floor privacy an issue with only blackout blinds so if you want daylight it's a problem. Kicked out at 1230 despite paying £20 for late checkout 1500 as advertised on their separate portal two days ago. Clearly not joined up in administration or organisation. Radiators programmed to 35°C and weird small behind the fridge. 2 women and 2 kids did not feel safe here.

The appointment was great for what we wanted , very clean had everything we needed couldn’t have asked for more , will definitely use again.

There was plenty of space and it was clean. The price was good for our large group.

We found a pair of undershorts (behind one of the couches) from a previous visitor. The table was very wobbly and we had to try to tighten it ourselves. The faucet for the sink was also wiggly. Instructions for entry could have been clearer (how to find the unit through all the fire doors) and I had to inquire for entry instructions--they were never sent to me the afternoon of check in as I was told they would be.

Affordable, clean and practical

Apartment 11 is a modern studio flat.

I specifically booked & paid for apartment 4, months in advance to be sure we got a separate bedroom. As in the advert, it is a one bedroom apartment. My booking confirmation stated apartment 4. THEN, we were advised by email on the morning that we were travelling (too late to cancel), that we were getting a studio apartment, not what we booked! At the time of booking, I asked for beds to be made up as 3 singles, we got a double (which could have been split & made up as singles, but they hadn't bothered), & a sofa bed, which like the floor, was covered in dirt & dust. I don't expect to start my holiday doing the housework! So, instead of the 3 singles, my daughter had to share the double with her son, & Granny gets to make up the sofa bed each evening! Although it wasn't too uncomfortable, it wasn't as comfortable as the single bed would have been! I had to find the bedsheet to make up the sofa, as it wasn't left out with the bedding! Oven was filthy, floor wasn't vacuumed properly, sweets under furniture, cutlery didn't look clean. Communication, non-existent! No answer to phone calls or replies to text or emails! We needed & ordered a separate bedroom so we could put my grandson to bed while my daughter & I enjoyed our evening in the lounge. Not having the separate bedroom we had booked, completely spoilt our break as either grandson stayed up too late, or we went to bed early! To top it off, the kitchen tap was clogged with limescale, I had to clean the filter to stop water spraying all over the place! The hot & cold were labelled the wrong way round, so my grandson got burnt by the SCALDING hot water when trying to get cold water. Also, half the smoke alarm was missing! NOT HAPPY!

The location was brilliant with shops,restaurants and bar’s being right on your doorstep, the fixtures and fittings were all brand new and of a high quality and the beds were really comfy

Our rooms were on the top floor and whilst we were staying there the weather was gorgeous, but the rooms were in direct sunlight all afternoon/evening and got very hot. That said our host had room fans put in all of our apartments which helped cool the rooms down massively. Top marks

Key isn’t safe in the key box outside room, anyone with the code can access the room, even when you lock the door from the inside you can still unlock the door with the key from the outside. I paid for 5 guests and the advert quoted that there’s 1 king bed & 3 single beds, this wasn’t the case, there was 3 single beds and 2 of them were pushed together to make a bigger bed, we also asked for a cot when I booked to which booking.com said the host has approved this and can accommodate it however once we arrived there was no cot & the hosts argued that they don’t have a cot available. I messaged the hosts while I was staying there that their advert isn’t as described and that there wasn’t enough beds for 5 people and they didn’t respond to me once they’d got my money. 4 people slept in the 2 single beds which was pushed together and 1 person slept in the single bed. Awful host who doesn’t respond to complains & falsely advertises their room. I don’t recommend at all.
