We were sent details to access the property but the key safe code was incorrect. The site it was located on knew nothing about the ownership so couldn’t help and they also informed us that the facilities advertised with the property (swimming pool etc) were not accessible without extra payment. Tried contacting g the owner through every available channel but no response. In the end Booking.com customer service told us to find alternative accommodation. It was the eve of my sister’s funeral so we then had to find somewhere else. Still no reply to any of my messages or emails so was a complete scam. Refund given by Booking.com

I’ve been scammed clearly

Initial communications were good from the owner. I had all the relevant info needed in good time & in preparation for our arrival. Then I asked the owner two questions which I haven't had a response to - neither of which impacted our stay but simply courteous to reply. If you know you have tenants staying, I'd expect the owner to be more proactive with this. The kitchen is new & well appointed. It has everything you need if you want to self-cater with the dining area supporting this.

I believe the regulations have recently changed but the bathroom is right next door to the kitchen. Whilst that may be the layout of these structures, it doesn't feel right to me - I also wasn't keen on traipsing through the kitchen/diner after my shower. I couldn't see smoke or carbon dioxide detectors nor labels indicating electrical items have been checked. The bathroom is functional but needs an upgrade. The hot water tap is very hot & needs signage to indicate as such. Of significant concern was the level of damp & mould in two of the bedrooms, particularly the middle bedroom. I suspect some of it has been painted over but even so, a large proportion of the bedroom ceiling was covered in mould including the space to hang our clothes. We were advised on booking that the hot water for the bath had been switched off due to site usage (?) & the price had been reduced accordingly. This wasn't an issue for us but I suspect the price was lowered because of the level of mould & damp present. Damp & mould pose considerable health risks & I'm sorry to say that I don't believe this property in its current condition, should be rented out. I have photos & a video available if that would be useful to see.

Unclean no response from owners when contacted about issues. Will not use again dirty property and black mould in rooms as shown in pictures.

Clean, nice area , had all the basics was comfortable suited our needs for the short stay

Bedroom door sticking so unable to open from outside, no plug socket in one of the bedrooms. Could have done with handrail on bath to make it easier to get in/ out

Comfortable clean beds. Good facilities and nice to have a pint of milk in the fridge:-)

Unable to get the WiFi to work during our stay. Also the entrance door was very hard to open as it looked like a problem with the hinges.

A lovely place to stay we enjoyed the whole property and would definitely stay again

Was abit cold when we arrived but soon warmed up when we put heaters on Not being able to use the bath

Very very nice and relaxing stay beds were amazing. Nothing to complain about . Everything we needed. The only problem was the TV . No batteries in tv for are fist day of stay as there were no shops open as it was Christmas day. But we just had are phones to use .

Nothing bad . Other batteries and retuning the TV to the proper TV channel s
