2BR design home 400 m from train station Tikkurila

The flat is nice, new and neatly decorated with parking space in the underground parking lot. It has ONE bedroom and a living room with a bed. The location near train station and commercial center is a big plus. The Heureka science center is within a walking distance.

The access to the parking lot from the street without a help from passenger would have been very complicated. We have not received a keycard to the parking lot. The main bed in living room and the one in the bedroom are OK, but sofa is not very useful for sleeping. The flat has limited view on both sides.

Loved the spacious and clean flat. The manager was really kind, and the position is simply amazing: everything needed is nearby, the train station with connections to Helsinki is 5 mins away or less by feet.

One of the queen beds (the one in the bedroom) is very low and not as comfortable as a normal bed (the one in the kitchen, for example). I was not really satisfied with the overly technological check-in mode and with the fact that it was not possible to get a double duvet for the queen beds, but I get that it is a common thing in Finland.

Everything is great

The apartment was basically brand new, Very clean and included all your necessities for the kitchen etc. Location was perfect we could walk easily to plenty of restaurants and grocery store. Also Train station was a very short walk to easily catch a 20 min train ride into town of Helsinki to explore for the day. Highly recommend this apartment especially for small families of 4 to 5

The only thing for me would be the bedding. Pillows and Duvet were very basic and not the most comfy but I’m also pretty picky.

The location worked very well for us staying as 2 families with small children. There is a supermarket next door for getting food and a number of restaurants nearby to go eat. The bus stops just outside the apartment had direct routes to all the places we wanted to visit, which made it super easy to get around and the train station is very close. Since it was summer time, we slept with the doors and windows open to keep the apartment cool and it was surprising how quiet it was outside over the weekend. The apartment complex itself is clean and other residents were friendly and the area was nice to walk in. We walked to the Heureka Science Center nearby and there was a nice park inbetween with a playground for the kids. The host was also very communicative and answered my questions quickly. We had a wonderful stay here!

For the kitchen, we didn't find a cutting board or a strainer, which would have been helpful for preparing meals.
