Rooms are comfy with aircon, fridge washing machine are available for use.Tea and coffee with quick meal and kitchen facilities provided.Very clean and hygienic.The host guy is prompt on texts and helpful with airport commute, speaks English also so communication was easy.Dozo restaurant, secawan n other restaurants nearby

There is no name board on one side of building so it's basically on the same floor as cow b homestay.I followed the location n reached there and there was no name so called them n lady at reception was totally useless.First her English communication was weak n because of her i was literally moving with my luggage around the block not able to find the name board, she could have asked to come up the stairs.On reaching I was asking her the same n she had a blank face like she didn't care.The other lady was sweet n apologetic.Request you to keep somebody who can communicate well at reception as there are international guests also.The location can look a bit shady if you are here for first time but then i realised it's quite common in semporna.

Overall clean besides the massive mold on one wall

It was not easy to find something nice in Semporna but bubble house is maybe the one you are looking for. We liked the private bedroom, the location next to Secawan cafe and dozo is great and the small kitchen area where you can refill your water and make some coffee. A washing machine and dryer are also available

Bathroom could be a bit bigger and really humid but it’s common in Asia.

Eric is exceptionally hospitable and the hostel is just as cozy as home.

Washing machine and dryer is the biggest plus. Also 5 minutes walking distance to the bus stop coming from Sandakan and 10 minutes walk to the jetty. Rooms were clean, showers were good.

No common area for chilling and meet other travelers.
