First opinion was very good before you start to use some staff

If you think that after long hiking you can have a nice warm shower , so this is not about this property, shower is almost not works, no pressure and water of so cold or so boiled. Strong smell of dust. We have a leak from the ceiling in the living room and nobody came even to check and every hour is getting worse. Thanks we are leaving otherwise we need the umbrellas to seat on the sofa. Toaster is not works properly, you need to hold it :( I’ve travel a lot around the world and I’m not picky person but this is really disrespectful for people who paid money.

Only thing was we arrived in the dark and all the electrics had been switched off at the fuseboard, whilst we were happy to switch them on, i imagine not everyone would be.

It was a good location for what we wanted

TV seemed impossible to use - connection issues. A few maintenance issues.

Electricity wasn’t on so storage heaters had no stored heat and house was extremely cold.No wifi and tv’s didn’t work.Would not recommend this property and will be applying for a refund.

Pros. Cheap (house was tired and small and needs refurbishment, but that's what you'd expect for the money) Clean

Cons: Requested cot for toddler twice, was confimed, then none in the house. Owners response was I'm in France, sorry. Toddler slept on the floor on some towels. Not great. Heating not god enough for winter. Old storage heaters that can't be adjusted and the house was very cold. Put toddler in hottest bedroom and was 14 degrees! One other bedroom and bathroom have no heating at all! Really really cold as it was freezing outside. Boiler/water tank plumbing very loud, came on early first thing and woke up quite a few people Worth noting that it's on a main road so alot of traffic noise and no garden and is immediately next to the grave yard. I know it's cheap, but lack of heating is really unacceptable.

Beautiful little cottage was home from home , would definitely stay here again

The cottage is very cute and in a nice relatively quiet village. There is plenty of space.

Wifi didn't work for the first 24 hours (half my trip) as the owners had forgotten to pay the bill. There was no TV without the wifi as it isn't connected to an aerial. Spoke to the owners about a partial refund for this and still waiting to hear back Lots of flying ants were accumulating in the window throughout the stay.
