Dar Lys Luxury Riad & Spa

Sehr gut. Wir wollten ein Hotel mit Parkplatz und Nähe zur Medina. Dafür ist Dar Lys perfekt. Personal war super nett und hilfsbereit. Frühstück war toll und grosszügig. Kein Mittagessen mehr nötig.

Die Bar hätte etwas besser bestückt sein können.

Vraiment top, personnel aux petits soins. Je me sens vraiment au Maroc avec l’odeur à l’arrivée de fleur d’oranger. Tout est propre, petit déjeuner exceptionnel. Je recommande.

La camera molto spaziosa e comfortevole

We had a very pleasant stay at Dar Lys, with service being the clear standout. We arrived very late after 10pm following a long day of travel, yet the staff were still incredibly attentive — helping with our luggage, offering tea and snacks in the reception lounge, and personally escorting us to our room. It was a warm and thoughtful welcome that immediately made us feel taken care of. The location is excellent — right on the edge of the Medina. You can step straight into the Medina to explore on foot, while still enjoying the convenience of a parking lot at the back of the hotel, which made pick-ups and drop-offs by driver or guide extremely easy during our stay. Breakfast was generous to the point of being almost too much — there was no way we could finish everything! On our final day, when we had to leave early for a flight, the hotel kindly prepared breakfast to go, which we really appreciated. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and were pleasantly surprised — the food was very good, with a solid selection of both local Moroccan dishes and international options. The only downside was the room itself. We had booked a family room, which felt a little old, dated, and tired, and could definitely benefit from a refresh. While it was comfortable enough, it didn’t quite match the high standard of service and hospitality elsewhere in the hotel. Overall, a lovely stay with excellent service, a fantastic location, and great food — just slightly let down by the condition of the room.
