Charming 2BR Cottage in Devon | Fully Equipped & Cosy Retreat

Top Location, very nice accomodation.

Location was good.

The house was quite shabby and tired looking. Paintwork and general upkeep was poor. Our curtain pole fell off on the second night when we pulled the curtains. There was dried food stuck to the chairs in kitchen. Sofa bed not comfortable and not very clean.

Good communication with the host, the keys were easily accessible via a lockbox. The cottage is perfectly located in the centre of Teignmouth, opposite the train station and 5 min walk from a big supermarket. The cottage itself was warm, cosy and had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, bedding and towels. We were provided with tea bags, coffee sachets and milk upon arrival. Beds were very comfortable.

The upstairs w/c made a loud noise when flushed so be mindful of this during the night when others are sleeping.

The location was excellent. The cottage was clean comfortable and warm and the communication with the owner was very quick and helpful.

It would have been nice if there was a microwave and cooking introductions for the cooker.

The house was advertised as fully equipped. It had no washing machine. The kitchen equipment was extremely basic - 2 pans and a frying pan. There were no oven clothes. The oven was dirty. There was no cafetiere. The bathroom was freezing cold. The towel rail was insufficient to heat the bathroom.

Location was great, layout was just right and was lovely and clean, well presented. Communication was spot on.

Could have done with a microwave

The location was good and close to the front down a quite very little street.
