Achtung! Das Zimmer ist nicht so schön und sauber wie auf den Fotos! Das Appartement befindet sich in einem allgemein schlechten Zustand. Kaputter Boden, dreckige Kissen, dreckiger Teppich, Nägel gucken aus der Wand, schlecht verputze Wände/Fußböden. Es wirkt so als wäre hier noch eine Baustelle. Das WLan existiert nicht. Der Code für die Wohnungstür hat nicht funktioniert. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde uns ein neuer mitgeteilt. Wir sind direkt in der ersten Nacht wieder abgereist weil wir dort nicht übernachten konnten und uns unwohl gefühlt haben. Der Vermieter antwortet auf meine Bedenken nur mit Standardantworten. Uns ist zudem aufgefallen dass einige Fotos mit Photoshop bearbeitet wurden. Wir können nur abraten das Appartement zu buchen. Auch andere Bewertungen der letzten Wochen sind schlecht.

Các góc nhà đầy bụi bặm, bát đĩa bẩn, khắn đầy vết ố vàng. Mạng nhện đầy các khe máy sưởi. Bồn tắm cũ kỹ. Nhà cửa cũ kỹ xấu xĩ bẩn thỉu. Tôi ko chập nhận được và đòi hoàn lại tiền cho tôi 1 ngày nhưng họ không đồng ý

The hause is very old and the main enterance is not secure.

One of the beds kept falling apart, so I ended up with my feet tilted down all night. The shower handle fell off and could not be reattached. Half of the dishes were dirty. The rugs in the kitchen and bathroom were so filthy that we moved them to avoid standing on them in bare feet. AC vents were filthy, even though there were spare filters in the closet. Front door to the building (2 rentals) did not even shut, much less lock. That scared us in downtown DC. I think the rating is artificially high because even after all of my discussions with the hosts they sent a request to rate it as a 10. It reminded me of sketchy Amazon sellers. I think that is probably why the score is so much higher than reality. Still waiting for a refund from Booking if the hosts keep refusing. Very disappointed with Booking too at this point. The place was unsafe and unfit. Now I can see that 6 prior guests over the past year commented on the broken shower, the water not draining, and dirtyness of the bathtub going back over a year. The guest before us commented on the communal door not closing or locking and the bed being broken. The host knew of the dangers, but was negligent in not fixing them before we arrived. We have always had such good experiences in the past finding places through Booking. This was a shock and disappointment. Next time I will read all the reviews and not just look at the score.

The location was absolutely excellent, walkable (although possibly over an hour long) to the shops and main city attractions. The apartment really felt like a home. We felt cosy, warm, and catered for once in the apartment. Nearly all items needed for a short-term stay were in the apartment. WiFi connectivity - excellent. Customer service reps, when called, promptly pick up and support. All in all, it was taken as a whole a very good place to stay for a quick visit to Washington DC. Easy access to bus and Metro transportation.
