The beds

Bathroom needs work. Loose showerhead, spigot. Bathtub needs to be removed or refinished as well as the shower door/curtain. Lots of stuff on furniture as decorations that are unnecessary

The location was clean, plenty of dishes and cooking utensils.

We made our own breakfast. The location was excellent. we walked along T St. to N. Capitol St. to catch the number 80 bus which took us to union station. From there we could take the metro or other buses to locations throughout the city. A note to seniors, seniors ride for free on the bus system at this time.! There are several fine restaurants in the immediate area around the apartment, including the Red Hen right across the street and a little restaurant right on the corner next-door. There are also a couple of local shops or food items can be purchased to use in the apartment. Not a big selection. Each room had a giant TV with Netflix connection, a plus if you like watching movies.

The bedrooms in the apartment are quite spacious, two big rooms. But the apartment does not have a sitting room, or a living room where more people can sit together. The beds were big, one room had a king size bed, and the other room had two queen size beds. We found the mattresses a bit soft.

A pleasant neighbourhood with a few convenience stores and a couple of restaurants. The entry system was very easy to use. Don't forget to press the door lock key. First impressions was good, nice furnishings and spacious bedrooms. Beds were comfortable. The next morning we discovered a few repair issues, particularly in the bathroom and some of the door hinges were a bit loose. The fire alarm was also beeping on the staircase. We notified the owner. As we were only there for three days it wasn't a big deal. Although we didn't use the cooking facilities we could see that it was well provided for. Appreciate the coffee pods left for use. Also, so handy to have the washing machine and dryer. Communication with the owner was good.

Didn't like to use the shower because of the repair issues. The door hinges on master bedroom and bathroom are loose. Change battery in fire alarm. The constant beeping is a bit annoying A little cold in the bedroom. We were already aware of the older metal radiators, despite turning them up it was still a little cold. Maybe have some additional electric heaters for use.

Unfortunately we had to book an extra hotel because it was too loud, dirty and uncomfortable there!! The bed sheet had a big stain on it and the handrail of their staircase was broken! Very dangerous! We couldn’t even close the blinds in the master bedroom…
