The property is thoughtfully designed and spotlessly clean.

What amazed me was how everything is "thought-through" in this place. Every small element makes total sense. At the same time it's relatively minimalistic and "clean" design. Also, the whole place is exceptionally clean. My compliments.

The only problematic bit is the noise from the road but I doubt there is anything that can be done to effectively rectify it - otherwise the owner would already do it (based on the rest of my experience). Not critical.

My stay @ The Barn was peaceful and relaxing with nothing nir no one to bother you. Communication between myself and host was always quite emediot. Oh and how gorgeous and comfortable the barn was. And very easy to use.

The host was frendly and the house cleaness was exceptional. There was milk, butter, salt extra helpful.

Firstly, It's the little things I need that made my day. Ciggi lighter, breakfast cereals, milk, snacks, coffee pods, usb-c charging port, iron, fan, 15kg washing drum, shampoo, conditioner, lots of towels, bathrobes, huge parking space. When a man needs it he needs it and this place has it. You also have a petrol garage and Sainsbury's just down the road. The sauna is big for a private one. I have been in smaller ones in hotels so it's an absolute pleasure. After a long walk in virgina waters lake we unwinded in our own private sauna. Can't beat it that especially when paired with a cold shower after! (Love that shower!) Went to thai terrace rooftop bar in evening. On a quiet weekday they brought a full course meal within 10 minutes. They have 5 chefs on the go! For Lunch we got a pizza in the oven [needed something quick and easy as was working]. Hut outside next to the barn with two seats for my cigarette and coffee breaks. The sensor light another great touch! [Can toggle auto/on/off]. Everything just felt convenient. Host 10/10 and the place is immaculate.

Cleanliness, luxury feel. The sauna was an amazing feature. The host, Trissie was lovely, so accommodating and we loved the little touches we found in the property (croissants, chocolates on the bed, towel displays) we felt so looked after!

I just wanted to send a huge thank you to Trissie for such a beautiful stay at The Barn. Everything was absolutely perfect, from the cozy atmosphere to the private sauna—it made our time here feel so special and intimate. It was exactly the peaceful retreat we needed, and we truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches that made it feel so warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be recommending this place and hope to return in the future!
