Very nice home in a pretty quiet neighborhood

When we first arrived we had issues with the door code and getting in contact with host to resolve. When we entered the place was very dirty and several broken and/or damaged items. Host did have a cleaning crew come in during our stay, did some repairs on one of the beds and replaced a broken television, so credit to them. Mattresses were soft so some of us couldn’t sleep very comfortably. When we booked our initial stay the cost was around $304 per night which would have been fine but for the poor care that had been given this beautiful house, and the interruptions for cleaning and repairs. We checked in a day early and stayed an extra day to rest before the long drive home at a substantially lower rate than we paid for the initial reservation. I feel badly for the hosts of this home as I believe they were led to believe that the home was being well taken care of by their staff, which is why I gave a 7 rating and not 5 or less. They did what they could to try and make things right by us. We were informed at check in there were snacks and a complimentary bottle of wine provided but there was not. We needed to purchase silverware and some baking dishes as there was not enough to serve our party of 10 to 12

The property was good, each room needed a dresser, the rooms felt empty. if you add dressers in the rooms it will give it more of a homie feel. Kitchen need to be updated for the price.
