Good location to a relatively lively area in Portland. House is charming, you see that the owner put a lot of effort in it.

Quite a lot of “restrictions” (take off sheets, etc). Price of the apartment too high for that.

Walkable neighborhood. Close to restaurants.

Very narrow curved stairway. Not suitable for older or mobility impaired. There is street parking but it can be difficult to find a space within a block.

"Interesting, quirky and comfortable."

Decor/style very nice. Kitchen well equipped, with excellent coffee. Bathroom small but pleasant, with a good shower. Comfortable beds. Loved the space as opposed to a hotel room.

Very stiff, squeaky door on first bedroom. Hinges need oiling. Some lights not working or are difficult to switch on. Dining table legs unstable. Stairs hard to haul luggage up, but there’s no way to improve that. Had to be noise-conscious but once again, the building’s age is the issue. Not very central to downtown, but is a relatively easy walk.
