Gower Vista 3 bed in Mumbles with free parking & sea views

Property was a perfect size and lovely decor. We really enjoyed the stay and the living and dining space was superb! Warm welcome from owners and communication was great. Tea, coffee, ice was a nice addition. Property was lovely and clean. Location nice and quiet and close to great amenities. Would stay again!

But disappointed there was no dishwasher despite instructions stating there were dishwasher tablets available.

The WiFi did not work- TV did not work. Really upset about that as first night was raining and we relied on that. Also could not work from the apartment. Could not get anything from the owners agent - totally useless and would have been better off telling us not to bother - more wasted time. Also nothing from booking.com not happy with the booking.com customer service options. Very glad this wasn’t a more serious issue.

The lovely views (worth the stairs to get in). Very clean, apart from bins. Comfortable. Warm. Good heating and hot water. Plenty of plates and cutlery.

Lack of kitchen items. Large Pyrex dishes and baking tins. No jug or bowl to mix eggs for breakfast. Small saucepans if for six. Only four mugs. Bowls very shallow. Nearly plates. Not good for cereal and milk. Bathroom blind went down, but not up. Right hand curtain rail in lounge needed fixing. TV only has apps. No aerial or cable. Microwave had some damage to door. Only one large placemat for table. Ceiling light in front bedroom didn’t work. Recycling, only food bin, one black bin liner, pink bag for plastic at bottom of outside stairs overflowing. Not put out week before. Swansea waste rules are difficult. No green bags for paper/glass/metal etc. We improvised. Bins need to be disinfected and cleaned before new guests. Food waste bin still had some sort of confetti in the bottom. Large bin not clean below bag. A small towel in kitchen and bathroom for hands would be good. A grab rail by the bath would be useful for getting in and out.

The property position was really good, close to mumbels centre and the seafront. The appointing of the property generally was very good but let down as explained below. The property was also very clean except a few items mentioned below.

There were sevveral lights not working, the kitchen was poory equipped for a property accommodating six and we had to obtain additional pans to simply heat up a meal let alone cook one as there was no response from owner when highlighted. The grill pan was dirtly although the hop clean. There was a half eaten chocolate bar left in the fridge and found on arrival. A couple of hospitality biscuits were left for guests with teas and a couple of coffees but the biscuits were significantly out of date pand the coffee machine did not work. There was a screw loose in hte carpet rail on whcih ou could catch your feet when leaving the sitting room.

Flat was comfortable, extremely clean and had a great location. Parking was an additional advantage. The wifi was very good and the kitchen had everything that we would need.

Communication with the host was not replied to. I had asked for a late checkout but got no reply.
