It was a quiet place which was good and it had everything you needed

Nothing it was perfect

It was clean and had all the things we would need. Very comfy stay. The beds were great as well as the sofas and chairs in the living room. There’s a small outside area as well which is good. The bathroom was great, the shower was warm and powerful. In all a great stay. Would come again and really recommend this place!

It was beside an orange order lodge which some people may want to avoid.

The location is excellent. It's very close to Ormeau Road where there's lots of nice bars, restaurants and shops and easy access to the city centre by bus if required. Travel cot was provided and was easy to set up. Host was very communicative and sent regular messages about check in and check out.

The accommodation wasn't very clean - there was a film of dirt on some of the windows, dust on lots of surfaces and the dishes in the cupboard weren't clean. The decor is very minimal and not very homely. The furniture is very basic and feels functional rather than curated, with random placement in some instances. There were some basic items I would expect to be provided as part of a self catering accommodation that we were missing: tea towels, shower gel/shampoo and bin bags - the latter was very awkward since you need somewhere to put your rubbish somewhere and bins not being lined when you get there is just a pain. Overall, the home feels a bit unloved and would benefit from a lick of paint, some personal touches to make it homely and some extra provisions for guests' comfort

How clean an comfortable it is

The property had not been cleaned when we checked in late at night. We had to sleep in dirty beds. Beer cans, rubbish and dirty pots all over the place. Asked the owner for a refund for the first night and have been ignored. We stay in booking.com properties every week and never have any problems normally.

Very good location, comfortable beds and plenty of linens / towels etc. Lovely to have a few conveniences - sponges and washing up liquid, few tea bags and toilet rolls etc.

No curtains in the front bedroom made the room very bright. The furniture could use a refresh - broken leg on the table, wonky clothes rails etc. Only room for two people to sit and eat at the table - we had to eat in shifts. Dirty pans in the kitchen and sticky cupboards.

Perfect venue for our weekend away. We wanted somewhere that allowed us a 10/15 min walk into the City Centre and this was perfect. The communication from Joe, the host was spot on and we managed to get into the accommodation just before out allotted time. We will definitely be staying here again when we next visit!
