Owner decided it would be a good idea to have other guests that could not locate their keys knock on our door multiple times in the middle of the night. Very sketchy area.

The place was neat, and there was no interfering noise.

The room was very hot with no thermostat in room to adjust temp. Therefore I was unable to sleep well.

My stay was very quiet no drama or noise very quiet the staff came every day to clean the bathroom and kitchen and mop the hallway smells great

The only thing I wasn't comfortable with is the bed it was to soft for me but perfect for someone else everything was fine no complaints really

The location was quite good since it was about a 5-minute road to a main road to get a bus to Newark Penn Station. It was about a 20-minute walk to the row of shops and restaurants on Broad Street. The room itself was quite nice and not too small. There were towels and toiletries for use. The room was lockable since the rest of the building was shared with other people. The room had a cupboard as well as a TV. Check in and out was fairly easy using a lock box.

The house is within a residential neighborhood so it could be a bit intimidating to walk around at night, particularly if you are unfamiliar with the area. The rooms are on level 2 and there are no elevators, just stairs. The house has multiple, individual bedrooms with a shared lounge, bathroom, and kitchen. There was a microwave but it didn't work. There was also no kettle.
