"The Nest was a very memorable stay"

When you travel frequently, like I do, it takes a very special place to make a lasting impression. The Nest made a lasting impression on me. The house and accommodations were spotlessly clean and the view over Lake Taupo was fantastic. Cheryl and Darren have obviously poured their hearts into making this a perfect property. There is a very nice restaurant very close by and the City of Taupo is also close by. In addition, many of the sights for which Lake Taupo is known, are very easily reached.

"A stunning place to stay"

The whole place was clean & really well equipped. Lots of food & drink supplied, free of charge.The view from the balcony was simply stunning. We were gutted that we could only stay 2 nights

There was nothing we didn't like. It was all fab!!

Fantastic location and view. We stayed for 6 nights and found the place so relaxing and comfortable. Everything we needed was there and the hosts were very friendly but also private. Recommended.

Location! Beautiful views of the Lake. Helpful hosts. Charming property. Everything was perfect!

The windows were beautiful, however a few window screens for ventilation would be great. We were instructed to close all windows at night because of bugs. It would have been nice if there was a wash/dryer combo in the unit. With these 2 additions I would have rated it a 10+

"Superb"

The location is outstanding with a beautiful view across the lake and a short drive to the city. The flat is very comfortable and has everything you need for a short stay. Cheryl and Darren were super helpful with local tips and recommendations and overall very friendly hosts.
