The Nest - Lake Taupo

The property is very well located, a 5-10 minute drive out of Taupo up on a hillside overlooking the lake and is very well equipped. The view from the bedroom and outside balcony is truly amazing! We watched the sunrise over the lake, the town lights twinkling at night and on the sunny days we could see the distant snow capped Mt Tongariro and Mt Ruapehu. The balcony overlooking the lake is a perfect spot to relax with a good book and a glass of wine. Definitely a food for the soul spot! This was the best accommodation we stayed in during our trip by a good margin and the interaction with the hosts was seamless and prompt. Taupo itself is also a really good destination with lots of quality eating venues and many options for activities, it made a great base for seeing the surrounding region.

Absolutely Stunning Stay in Taupo Kia ora I recently stayed in the best accommodation in Taupo, and it exceeded my expectations. Nestled in quiet bush surroundings with a breathtaking view of the lake, this place is absolutely stunning. The peacefulness of the location made it the perfect retreat. I recently had spinal surgery and my bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the breakfast provided was simply beautiful. Even though it's not a hotel, this accommodation deserves a 5-star rating for the exceptional experience it offers. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a serene and picturesque getaway!
