Antique Mansion B & B

The Antique Mansion is ideally located a mile and a half from downtown Rutland, VT. The area and house are quiet. The four acre property is well kept and private. The daily breakfast is exceptional. The golf course across the street has a nice restaurant open to the public.

There is no air conditioning so it could be a bit warm in July.

Both were excellent.

More pillows needed.

Incredible friendly owner, and terrifically friendly guests

Beautiful building, lovingly furnished, every detail the eye catches brings you back to a grand past era in time. The owner was fabulous. She was family the second we met. So pleasant and friendly and explained the quirks of an old mansion. My room was extremely spacious. The large bed was very comfortable.

Location was very peaceful and at the same time, it wasn’t isolated - there was still restaurants/stores just a short drive away - the best of both worlds. The staff was very nice, the other guests were friendly, and the breakfast was delicious!

If the AC unit in the 3 bed room shouldn’t be used, then it’s likely best to not have it there. Having the AC there but not be usable could be confusing to guests.
