Pros: The hotel is in a great location, making it very convenient to get around. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I also really appreciated the lovely view from the room.

Cons: There was a bit of confusion regarding the breakfast. At the time of booking, it appeared that breakfast was included, but I was later informed there would be an additional charge. A continental breakfast option was available, though this wasn’t clearly mentioned in advance, so clearer communication would be helpful. The bathroom could benefit from a light refresh, particularly the bathtub. I also noticed a few small areas where a bit more attention to detail in cleaning would enhance the overall experience

Location is stunning. The house feels warmly and welcoming. The staff/owners are great. The rooms are lovely. Breakfast is good.

Bathrooms could do with some updating

We had such a lovely stay at TY Afor! The location is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views across the Welsh countryside, the perfect setting to unwind and take it all in. It’s also ideally situated if you’re visiting for walking, running, or heading out on some great nearby adventures. The staff were amazing throughout our stay, so friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. Breakfast was spot on, with a great selection to suit everyone, and the rooms were cosy, comfortable, and just what we needed after a day out exploring. A fantastic place to stay!
