The game keeper cottage is in a beautiful Cotswolds village and has a pub the fox that serves food I had a delightful stay I would highly recommend this property to anyone that wants a stay in the Cotswolds

Really lovely quaint little cottage in the Cotswolds. Perfect if you’re visiting for a weekend or holiday

The stairs are very tight and narrow which isn’t an issue id just be aware if booking for older people or people with mobility issues. Also it was a bit odd there was a massive sold sign on the gate.

L’emplacement était parfait pour ce que nous avions prévu. Les chambres sont belle et propre. Parfait pour 3 personnes.

Les verres étaient sales et le frigo aussi. Il n’y a pas de lampe à côté des lit. Les escaliers sont très raides pour une famille avec des petits enfants ou pour des personnes à mobilité réduite.

The location is lovely, with a thriving pub next door. Although close to the pub, you don’t hear any noice. The beautiful courtyard garden that you greet first, has all you need. The house is beautifully decorated, with a well equipped kitchen. The only thing I will say is the shower/bath, the ceiling height is low ass can be expected. I’m 5ft9 and almost touching the ceiling. But the cottage is cute and quaint. Even in the 30 degree heat, the cottage itself stayed cool. Will definitely return back again.

Nothing, a few bits of wear and tear but that’s to be expected.

Location is very good. Very quiet village. Next to a pub and little shop. Pretty house. Good stock of essential supplies such as tea coffee sugar etc.

Some basic things are missing. No kitchen bin. Had to go searching in the shed for a bin bag to hang on a hook. No bath mat and bath slippy when showering. No wardrobes. There is no way of hanging any clothes at all in top floor bedroom and a few hangers and a hook in the other bedroom. There are not 3 parking spaces as stated. Always someone parked there (although 1 available). The property badly needs decoration. Lots of scuffs everywhere and some places like the bathroom are quite bad. Finally as stated by others the stairs are treacherous but I appreciate there isn’t much to be done about that. I didn’t personally like the whole system of collecting a hefty deposit in advance. We have a holiday home we rent out and I think it’s overkill given the amount being charged in the first place and not something I would do

Only concern was parking, the pub landlord wasnt too happy with us staying there but after we purchased a few drinks and meals he was fine.
