Rise & Set Arugam bay

The staff was really nice and the rooms were really nice and comfortable.

The staff was very nice and the rooms were big.

I would not stay there again. The backyard was full of trash, so it is not usable. The roof veranda was very, very dirty. So was the communal fridge. The location isn't that good. You have to walk 10-15 minutes to Arugam bay. You have to walk through the main street. The Lagoon is on the one side of the street , were a lot of garbage has been dumbed. This hotel is not it's money worth.

The hotel has faded since the photos were taken and some of the facilities (restaurant, bar, spa) were not available. The staff were as helpful as they could be and we left after one night when we’d booked two. Disappointing.

The included breakfast was a premade omelette and cold floppy toast.

The Location of this hotel was very nice. I also liked the big bathroom of the dormatory. The Manager was nice.

The Breakfast was a bit dull for my taste. Also the AC was too cold and the sheets to thin, which lead to some uncomfy first nights.

The Hotel is right between Potuvil and arugam bay which makes it easy to access both by foot. It also has a nice rooftop where you can see the sunset. We slept in a dorm which was pretty clean and had a very cool ac

The ac was too cool and there was no remote and the door for the dormitory was broken and very difficult to open.

Nice hotel slightly outside the center of Arugam Bay. The rooms are extremely spacious, clean and well taken care of. The rooftop offers a lot of potential that is unfortunately not used right now. We particularly liked our conversations with the staff member that is a master yogi and offers daily yoga lessons. A very interesting and knowledgeable person that could give us many historical insights into the country, its main religion and meditation.

There is some unused potential, particularly with the rooftop that offers exceptional views of the lagoon and the sunset!
