The location was top notch and the rooms were kept clean.

Food was expensive.

Really cool establishment, the view is amazing, the host is really kind and the dog lovely. The host give us really good advice to visit the surrounding of welligama and arrange a scooter for our stay for a really good price

• The view from the hotel is beautiful, offering a picturesque landscape that’s truly worth appreciating. • The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, which made our stay comfortable despite the hot weather

• Unfortunately, the photos on the booking site didn’t match the room we initially received. However, after bringing this to the manager’s attention, they were quick to accommodate us by changing our room, which was appreciated. • Cleanliness was a significant issue during our stay. The room had a lot of dust and was generally not very clean, which was disappointing. • There were insects in the room, including a lot of ants and big flying cockroaches. Dealing with cockroaches every night was particularly unpleasant.

Located just over the bridge but within walking distance of the town. We would recommend the location, certainly quiet compared to the main town. Good size family room, however if the room was positioned on the lagoon side rather than the road side it wouldn't be affected by traffic noise. Overall a good place to relax and enjoy the area.

V spacious property located in a quaint atmosphere, surrounded by nature. Massive rooms w a solid 10/10 view. Loveliest staff and v accommodating to our requests. Helped us sort out our further travels. Good breakfast, always accompanied by a great cup of tea!

The Sunset view was amazing rooms were very spacious and food was amazing specially the sri lankan crab curry. Amazing place highly recommended......

I loved absolutely everything about my stay, the rooms were clean and spacious, with beautiful rainfall showers and incredible sea views. The hotel had delicious food served all day and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had since coming to Sri Lanka. The staff were all very helpful, they were very knowledgeable about the area and even showed me some of the best secret surf spots. The hotel has a rooftop bar which has incredible sunset and sunrise views. I even saw some monkeys and wild elephants out the back of the hotel on my first morning here. Couldn’t recommend this place enough, the pictures really don’t even do it justice.

Only size of the room

I had a very disappointing stay at Rice and set. The hot water caused power outages and the bathroom water was yellow, the AC and fan in one room didn't work properly, and the staff was unresponsive to our complaints. Additionally, there were no complimentary items and the breakfast was insufficient, making it not worth the price.
