I was absolutely disappointed in my stay at zimbali and with the services of bookings.com . I will be writing a review on every social network platform i can possibly find. Firstly we were looking for accommodation for my friends wedding and one day before was contacted by the owner that we need to pay R4000 more as bookings.com only captured us for one person. After several calls in panic to their call centre and wasted airtime with people who we could hardly understand due to accent they agreed to pay the difference after asking us to pay it they agreed it was a cliche on their system. This was in the late hours of the night and we were already panicked about where we were going to stay. We arranged for early arrival so we could change and the unit was still filthy. The shower barely worked and it was like a few droplets of water. The entire weekend we struggled to bath . I dont understand how this place was even valued at R6000 for the weekend. The scenic view was a freeway with no proper pots or pans to even cook. It was small and cramped and the sleeper couch was simply a 2 seater couch. The ac in the lounge was not working and the heat was bad . It was super cramped and the toilet was like a airplane toilet. I was disgusted in the price the struggle and the condition of a place like zimbali. This matter needs to be investigated further or i will bring it up publicly for false advertising.

Wasn’t allowed to have a braai with visitor not even allowed visitors that wasn’t even specified on the description of the place

The place needs fumigation (pest control)the entire building had cockroaches.

Yhooo bed mattresses were very uncomfortable

There were cockroaches in the unit, the shower was extremely small, water pressure was very low, and the bed is way too hard. WiFi connection was very poor, even after rebooting it a couple of times.

As much as it’s self catering , atleast have mini soaps and hand wash and sufficient toilet paper . The dish wash liquid was not sufficient. And there crockroaches

Property was clean and safe.

Their rooms are very small for a staycation with family,also their beds are very uncomfortable.
