Beech Lodge 1 Hot Tub

Property and location were stunning. Stayed in beech one and had zero problems. Booked to go back in September this year for another weekend.

On arrival everything seamed ok until we noticed both main windows where blown could not see the lake. Wall heater in twin bedroom hanging off the wall, blind in bathroom was broken , spoke to owners offered to move us to a 2 bed lodge far to small for us, shower was very poor power. And the floors were very dirty you could see the dirt on your socks. Great location but would not stay here again for the price they charge.

Lovely and clean, had everything needed for a weekend break! Spacious, and warm. Hot tub was ready to go and hot when we got there. Had a brilliant weekend. Location was excellent, nice and rural to relax but also a 5 min walk to Tesco and bus stops that took us straight into York. Check in was the easiest check in…nice touch with couple teabags and toilet rolls.

Shower didn’t have the best water pressure but was nice and hot!

The bed was comfy nice dining area and kitchen, lovely hot tub, great location, 10 minutes from york centre.

Tv was very outdated, shower was weak and mainly cold.

Lovely lodge overlooking the lake. Private hot tub. Lovely and warm for when we arrived, spacious. . Park and ride in walking distance to get into the centre of York easily.

How the lodge was presented with decor spotlessly clean and comfortable living for a short break in a beautiful location. Would definitely stay again. Bonus having the hot tub.

Nothing to dislike, we had all we needed for a short break.
