Loved the cottage decor, little garden was perfect for sitting out and had everything you could possibly need, plus a lovely bottle of wine on arrival which was a nice touch,

Nothing, loved the property, but did think the parking was a bit expensive, managed to fine one fairly close by but it did cost Ā£70 for the week.

We had an excellent long weekend based in Captain's Cottage. The stay was excellent with easy access to the high street and bus services. The property was excellently presented and everything we could want from a weekend stay. If we had any questions about the island they were quickly answered by the hosts. Nice little garden that was a sun-trap to begin the day with. Bathroom lovely, and plenty of hot water for the shower to begin the day with. Bed was comfortable also. Would highly recommend.

not a dislike (as booking.com phrases the question), but concur with some other comments about the stairs. They didn't cause us any problems, just took a little more attention than normal to go down them.

Beautiful and tastefully decorated cottage, old and new styles mixing perfectly

Wet towel hanging space in bathroom would be good. Stairs very steep and narrow - handrail could be extended upwards at the top of the flight and a hand hold on the left would be added safety. Handholds for getting out of the very deep modern short bath.

"Wonderful trip to an amazing place"

Outstanding location. We were able to travel extensively using the local bus service. Numerous restaurants, pubs, and lots of shopping a short walk away. Cottage is beautiful and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again.

The space, the quality of fixtures and fittings. The level of comfort, the cleanliness and the location in the centre of Cowes

The stairs are quite steep and narrow - my only observation

"A perfect cosy getaway. Gorgeous place, smelt like a home away from home, perfect location. Just a must stay!"

Not one single complaint. Had everything we needed, even silly things like salt & pepper & oil to cook with (every place weā€™ve stayed in weā€™ve ended up having to buy this stuff.) Katie was an incredible host & we hope to come back in the summer.
