Stunning little house, 2 mins from Lyme Regis beach with a sea view Sleeps 4 free parking,small dog welcome

The location was excellent, I know Lyme very well so I already knew where it was before I booked. The property is lovey and nice & warm.

The only TV was in the bedroom which I found a little strange. There is some serious renovation work going on at the property next door which could be a problem if you are staying during the working week, fortunately there wasn’t any work happening on Saturday or Sunday but that could’ve been because of the storm that arrived in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Great location, fantastic view! A really comfortable and relaxed stay.

Just a small thing, no bin in the bathroom or bedroom when we stayed.

Location was good for walking into town centre and beach/marina. Collecting keys worked out well. Host was at property so collected the keys from her. WiFi very good and bathroom big with great shower. The kitchen had an air fryer and coffee machine which were very good. Private parking good and walking the dog to the park or beach front very easy. Lyme Regis very dog friendly.

Property half way up steep hill so could be difficult for persons with walking difficulties to walk up and down the hill. The bed mattress was very soft and seen better days. No TV downstairs so if wanted to watch had to do so from bed or use own laptop. The settee faced the kitchen so not much of a view. Difficulty using the cooker/microwave no instructions on use. Could have done with a soft brush and/or mop to clean the downstairs floor especially with a dog in the house. Had to use a wet cloth on hands and knees. The biggest disappointment was that there was a house reconstruction going on right next door, which the host had not mentioned prior to arrival or when booking. The workmen were on site working from 8am to 5pm lot of noise and construction dust coming over onto patio and into house. If had known of the construction site would not have booked. This ruined the holiday.

Perfect location, just a couple of minutes walk to the beach. Lovely property with everything we needed for our weekend break, parking space was a bonus. Can't wait to return soon.
