ARYA Sumba - Kodi Resort

A real paradise on Sumba! Crystal clear water, peaceful atmosphere, and excellent service. The view from the hotel is breathtaking, especially at sunset. This hotel was amazing for us. The design is in local style, very natural and beautiful, so we felt the real spirit of Sumba. The room was clean and comfortable, and the food was always tasty. The staff were kind and smiling all the time. Around the hotel there are wonderful trips. To small villages, to the beach, and into the nature. The sunset view in the evening was something we will never forget.

There's nothing specific to pinpoint that we didn't like. I dare to say that it fulfilled my expectations

Ci è piaciuto tutto. Lo staff è stato estremamente gentile e disponibile, la camera è bellissima, tipica e pulita. Gli spazi comuni sono curatissimi, per non parlare della vista sul mare. Atmosfera meravigliosa che fa venire voglia di tornare.

Hôtel très agréable, très joli piscine et plage. Personnel au top à l’image de ce pays. Les viennoiseries du petit déjeuner sont excellentes, tous comme les cocktails 😉

Carte du restaurant très attractive, mais il manquait 50 % des produits dont le poisson ce qui est fort Dommage. Les chambres sont agréables mais très sombres, même la journée . Impossible de lire le soir malgré la lumière. Il faut ajouter des liseuses.

La struttura ha grande potenziale

L’hotel non è pronto per essere aperto, non ci sono servizi, non ci sono attività, il ristorante non è pronto per avere ospiti, il team va ancora formato, molte aree sono dismesse/wip

L’hôtel est très joli et bénéficie d’un cadre agréable.

Cependant, les prestations sur place sont extrêmement chères et donnent l’impression que l’établissement profite du manque de développement de l’île pour surfacturer tous les services. Par exemple, 50 € sont demandés pour le transfert aéroport–hôtel, puis encore 50 € pour le trajet retour, ce qui est totalement excessif pour l’Indonésie. De plus, le service n’est pas à la hauteur : le personnel est certes très gentil, mais malheureusement assez incompétent, ce qui rend l’expérience décevante par rapport au standing affiché et au prix demandé. Il ne propose d’ailleurs aucune activité, hormis la location de scooters, encore une fois payante et à un prix très élevé pour l’Indonésie.

Bellissima location. Resort nuovissimo, appena aperto. Comunque struttura interessante con grande potenziale quando saranno costruite nuove camere piu' spaziose e migliorati alcuni dettagli, specie a livello di servizio e comfort degli ospiti.

Camere un po' piccole. Piccole inefficienze e qualche discontinuità nel livello dei servizio principalmente legati alla recente apertura.

There is no network signal

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The gardens were great. The room was nice enough. The location was great for viewing sunsets over the ocean. The restaurant and pool area was well designed. The food was great and the chef was happy to go off menu for us to let us try local dishes.

The shower was rusty and the piping had holes, which was surprising for a relatively new hotel. They didn’t offer a ton of activities that appealed to us. The road getting there was pretty rough at times.

the place is amazing, and is going to look great in the future. The manager was super nice with the refund when we tell them we were leaving a couple of night earlier.

Is still under construction, felt like a construction pit with a lot of nice A lot of people working in the area so you did not feel a lot of privacy. Restaurant food could be a lot better, we did not like it at all and end up eating in nearby hotels a lot.
