Stanza pulita e host molto accogliente

La cosa che mi è piaciuta è stata l'accoglienza che ho avuto, la sig.Maria è stata molto affettuosa con me, ho trovato una stanza molto bella e molto comoda. La mia recensione è molto positiva.

The location of the hostel. I had a lot of problems getting there, there is no easy and accessible transportation and although the owner offered to pick me up at the train station, from which you cannot walk, I had no charge or internet on my cell phone to answer. They say entry is between 4 and 8 p.m. but I arrived and no one was there. The bathroom was uncomfortable and sounded too loud and there was little variety available for breakfast. In general I do not recommend staying in Fiumicino, better Rome and it is only 35 minutes by train

The host: Maria is wonderful! She was responsive, resourceful and aways available to help us. She picked us up at the Ponte Galeria train station, provided details on how to use the train & bus transportation systems and took us to the airport. She was transparent about how many people were staying at her place that night so we were not surprised. She also ensured to reserve a room with the bathroom inside it, looking into my safety since there were other men staying at the house that night. Fully recommended! The house: A quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Spot clean with well maintained furniture and spaces. The breakfast at Maria’s place is great for those that enjoy sweet treats and coffee to start the day. Good selection of cakes, biscuits, tea, yogurt and coffee. I am more of a healthy eater and I supplemented it with fruits I got at one mini market. Be conscious that there is no A/C, I didn’t realize it when booking even that there are other comments about it. Even that the summer day was hot it got better during the night. I was able to get a good night sleep. She kept a fan with an integrated cooling system. Location: Ideal for a night before a trip to the airport, just 10 mins away. It is a remote location, about a 10 min walk to the closest bus stop. The transportation system was reliable and I recommend to be conscious about time. It took us about 2.5 hrs to get to Rome between buses and regional trains. It seems that during the weekends the buses are more limited. I didn’t have a bus ticket but was able to pay at the bus with credit card. If you are planning to stay a few days it might be better to buy a multi-day ticket to use for the buses and regional trains. Each bus trip is approx 1.5euros. Overall it is a great option with a wonderful host.
