Fiera di Roma B&B

Maria, our host, was absolutely lovely. The house was newly converted, well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and very spacious. It is very convenient for the airport and close to a train station for Rome.

No criticism of the B&B, but reaching it via public transport involves a walk, taxi or (in our case - thanks Maria!) a lift from the marvellous Maria. It is straightforward to get to within 1km of the B&B via the train (Fiera Di Roma Station) and even closer by bus.

clean, good bed, fair breakfast, and the best thing, Maria, that is a very friendly person. She did everything to help us, even we arriving late at night

The location is not the best one, but can be an option to those that need to be near the Fiumicino Airport.

The room, breakfast and the whole Airbnb was very good. The staff is super. They help you as soon as you write to them. You can request anything and they will get it done. The location is perfect for any event in fiera di Roma as it is only one stop away from ponte galarie

The only thing I did not like is that to get to ponte galarie there is a bus stop but the buses were on strike one day which made it complicated. the last bus is at 10:30pm from ponte galeria. This time constraint for the the connection was the only thing I did not like.

Maria and Aldo were super helpful; for example, they picked us up at the apartment the next day and drove us to the train station at no cost. They also picked us up at the airport the night before for a very reasonable charge ($25 Euro). Good to note is that the apartment is half of a suburban home and the kitchen, dining space and bathroom are shared if others are there (we had it all to ourselves the night we were there, so that was great). The lodging was a little further from the airport than we anticipated -- a 20 minute car ride, but if going into Rome the next day or traveling elsewhere by train it is a quiet and convenient halfway point. It is in a residential neighborhood so not an easy spot to catch a cab or walk to a store (to the extent we could tell). The best aspect of Maria's apartment is that she is a super eager-to-please host, the bed was super comfortable, and it is in a quiet location,. It was good value for money.

Coffee machine was a little tricky and the breakfast breads and cakes were a little too sweet for my taste (I'm a very healthy eater). Was great to have plain yoghurt and bottled water in the fridge.

The host was very nice. The breakfast was very good.
