Well equipped, easy access to all the major spots in Parma. Check in was made easy by the excellent directions of the staff. Federica was helpful in pointing us to some nice restaurants close by.

Size of the apartment was good. Check-in was easy. Location was great (central). There were even some Christmas decorations.

Insufficient cleanliness of the shower (joints yellow and moldy, debris under the sliding door of the shower, my son simply refused to use it). Sewer smell (probably a structural problem in the building so not the host's fault, but the air fresheners/pot pourri used to mask this are not a great solution for people with even mild allergies). No kettle (but you can heat up water in a pot). The bed covers were too thin for the season (December). It would have been nice to have a duvet IN a cover, rather than just a thin sheet covered with a bed spread.
