Avoid this Host – Unethical and Untrustworthy I strongly advise against booking with this host, Bilal. During our stay, he attempted to unlawfully cancel our booking, claiming that the rate was too low and that we were using excessive electricity—without providing any explanation or evidence. Booking.com intervened and confirmed that his actions were not justified, refusing his request to cancel our stay. DO NOT PAY A DIRECT DEPOSIT TO THE HOST. Bilal insisted on a direct deposit of £150 and later made arbitrary deductions, including £25 for two glasses (worth no more than £2) and a chopping board labeled “MEAT,” which he claimed had knife marks. As vegetarians, we never used it. Recovering the deposit was a frustrating process, requiring multiple follow-ups, and the deductions remain under dispute with Booking.com. This experience was stressful and disappointing. I strongly recommend choosing a different property to avoid similar issues. The main triple wardrobe has a glass triple door missing and has a smashed mirror behind the wardrobe. Which has no doors. He may try and claim this as damage from a future guest. Be warned! Awful experience.

Really well located in the heart of Birmingham

It’s not a not like , the host addressed our major issue of the bathroom lighting very quickly with a good fix. As a traveller who uses self catering frequently I think a few additions of better quality crockery and utensils and also some different types of glasses ie wine , tumblers would make the property better . Overall a lovely stay

Location, number of facilitiesw

Key habdover was not easy - e.g. not there right until 3 & code missing - also too far from apartment. Facilities fine but could use more operational information, eg heaters & wifi - if there was any!

Smell of smoke in one bedroom and carpets needed a good clean

Check in was really simple. The apartment was exceptionally clean and perfect location for the event we were attending. We only stayed one evening so didn't get a chance to use any of the facilities but would definitely stay again.

Their wasn't anything we disliked but some complimentary tea/coffee would of been a nice addition.
