The location of the apartment was great.

The apartment is located in a good place, close to the town centre. If you have a car then this entails parking the car in one of the public car parks then walking with your bags to the apartment. The apartment is up a flight of stairs in a corridor making it a little tricky to get bags into the apartment. There was a coffee maker in the kitchen but no capsules to go with it, every other place we visited on our extended trip supplied some capsules. The air conditioning worked fine but guests should be aware that the drain for the bedroom unit drains into a plastic container located in a cupboard in the bedroom. It was very hot when were there so we had the aircon on a lot and it was only by chance that we discovered that the plastic drain container was completely full and about to start leaking all over the bedroom floor. The apartment looks tired but I am guessing that this common in this part of the town. I did not like that the toilet opened directly into the kitchen and the toilet/shower was very small. If you are on the large side then this would not suit you.

Logement super bien situé et très joli mais mal équipé : machine à laver qui ne fonctionne pas, cuisine sans bols ni saladier digne de ce nom, ni grands verres, ni économe ni poêle, pas le moindre sel-poivre-huile... La table et les chaises en métal sont sans âge et rouillées, la micro-terrasse se transforme en pédiluve à la moindre pluie. Une lampe d'appoint serait la bienvenue, au moins à côté du lit. La rambarde entre la mezzanine et l'escalier chinois ne tient pas et paraît dangereuse (enfant en bas âge s'abstenir) Il est par ailleurs écrit que l'appartement est insonorisé : c'est sans compter sur le rooftop d'en face...

The property is in a fabulous location and was well decorated with a lovely balcony

There was no wifi for the first day. The owner said there was a problem in the street but I was picking up lots of local signals so I don’t believe there was a problem on the street. I asked where the router was in case it needed restarted and when he did answer me he said it was in the roof! A new router appeared the next day to plug in. I found the owner quite rude. Also asked him 4 times where the iron was and eventually he said beside the ironing board-no iron could be found but he didn’t respond. A pity he was rude as the apartment was lovely! The bedroom is too hot to sleep in as the a/c doesn’t travel up there but the sofa bed downstairs was very comfortable. Please note the stairs up to the bedroom are precarious for anyone with mobility issues and the handrail wasn’t the safest. It’s a third floor apartment so 3 flights of steep stairs to be aware of but the location is fab!

Very central location and authentic apartment. Host was great. We had an issue with a parking fine. Host helped us to pay it.

The water in the bathroom was cold.

I rented the duplex flat, recently renovated. It was on the third floor. Excellent facilities and superb location

I never met the host but messaging was attentive with quick responses.

The location of the house is fantastic in the Old Town Area. All in all I really recommend this apartment. Last but not least Daniele the host was very kind and helpful.

The toilet is small.

The best thing about this property is definitely the location. Everything you need is right on your doorstep (or around the corner even). Less than a two minute walk down the quiet lane to the famous beach. Less than a minute walk to all the gift shops and restaurants. A ten minute walk (if that) to the 24 hour beach parking. Inside the property it is quite thin and narrow, but it's all you need for a short stay. Decent coffee machine and Wi-Fi. Steep stairs up, but only to the first floor. The building felt safe and secure and the balcony was so sweet over looking the quiet lane below. Would highly recommend it for your stay in beautiful Cefalu. My only gripe is that the bedroom is really dark and felt a little cold at night. We opened the wardrobe to look for an extra blanket, which we found, but to our disappointment it smelt of urine, so did not use it. The owner did apologise when we told him, though.
