Veterani House 33

Great location in the centre of Cefalù with small terrace above the roofs. Short walking distance from the beach and the cathedral. Easy flexible check-in in. Quite new forniture and clean flat.

Poor shower.

Daniele (the host) was extremely accomodating. She brought in items upon request, recommended places to go, restaurants, etc. Any issues that arose, were remedied very quickly. If anyone needs hosting lessons, she's an expert.

The location is excellent. The apartment is big. It has a room, a large hallway, a kitchen, a private toilet and a small balcony.

The stay here was pleasant. However, a few objections. The toilet is too small and everything could be cleaner. Also, the room does not have a window, but that did not particularly bother me.

Daniele is an excellent host, and the property is in the best location, with easy access to everything in Cefalu

We had a wonderful stay at Veterani House 33! It was less than 2 minutes walk to the beach, in the heart of the old town, couldn’t have asked for a better location. The host was extremely helpful and very communicative. The kitchen and washing machine were a great touch to the end of our trip. We would love to stay here again! Thank you so much 😊

Really good location, cute apartment, quiet and comfortable

The property is on the quiet residential street, very close to shops, restaurants and the small beach.

Except for location there was nothing exciting about this property. The flat itself felt like someone is actually living there and I really though that the true owner may turn up on the doorstep any moment an order us out. I do understand the specifics of an old property in a residential area as we travel quite a lot, but nowhere else we were feeling like squatters staying in someone else's home . There was not a single similar piece of crockery or cutlery, the wardrobes were dusty and there was something looking like somebodies' personal belongings inside of them. The bathroom was the most uncomfortable, just off the kitchen with toilet seat and lid completely dethatched, so you can't actually sit on it and the position of the toiled pan doesn't let you do it anyway, otherwise you have to keep the bathroom door open and your knees will be actually in the kitchen. The shower door wasn't closing so the water leaked on the floor. It seemed that the property had not a single touch of improvement to make it more appealing and comfortable for holiday stays. Daniele the host was stressing us with messages, hurrying us up to collect the key as he had some other business to attend to. Because of this we had to run to the property in torrential rain ( lucky us to arrive during the storm) and we got soaked to the bone as a result. I have enquired about the nearest available parking way before our arrival, received misleading advice, which caused us loads of stress on arrival and most likely a fine. It felt that the Daniele doesn't really care about his guests. On check out morning he didn't even turn up to collect the keys and we felt uncomfortable leaving them inside the property and shutting the door behind. My verdict is- I do not recommend this property to anyone, unless you don't care about your holiday stay standards at all. There are many other options available in the similar price range, inside the old town and out.
