FabExpress Gateway Inn - 700m from Gateway of India

1. The location; walking distance to Gate of India 2. Hotel personnel were great.. 3. Roof didn't leak 🤣

This place is a dive. Reviews saying otherwise are fake reviews. There's NO WAY this place scores a 7. Bed was a thin mattress with VERY worn sheets. Half the time the toilet didn't flush; had to use the bucket in the shower (that tells you all you need to know) to flush. For the right price (meaning rock bottom) this place is fine as long as you know what you're getting. After I checked out, the hotel reported to Booking.com that my stay had been cancelled. I stayed for all the days booked. Tells you something is up.

It is good only with respect to location, no other reason that we could positively say about this place.

The rooms were pathetically very small, we definitely not recommend it. No space to move around, also no place to keep a trolley also! It’s horribly small and cramped

Honestly there's nothing I liked about the property apart from the central location but I still wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Although the hotel is at a very good location, I still wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. The rooms are small with no ventilation and the wardrobes are shabby. There was water leaking from the ceiling and our room was so small that we didn't have any space to open our bags. Even though we requested a non-smoking room, there was a foul smell in the rooms and there were a lot of cockroaches. The conditions were so appalling that we had to move hotels the next day otherwise it would have ruined our trip.

The photos don’t match with rooms at all. You have a nice room on the photo and they give you the dump cave without window. Its very noisy du to guests and employees activities all night long, the huge quantities of rats in the ceiling running all the night and a lot of cockroaches everywhere. We negotiate a room with a window we have on the photo on the page but have yo pay extra for this.
