FabExpress Gateway Inn - 700m from Gateway of India

The room was very nice in term of Space and modern furniture but that was all .

Bug guest in my bed as I remove the blanket to get in, bugs also around the room and the bathroom . In 3 days none cane to clean the room and none to clean the fan with accumulated dust was scattering all anice the bed cover. The people at the desk were nice but smiling doesn’t loads of effort.

The location was perfect. The wifi worked well. The staff was very friendly. The bathroom was acceptably clean. If you are desperate and use to some dirt bag hotels traveling this may be ok for one night. I would not recommend an extended stay here. The place gets a few stars for the location, wife and staff

The building had a strong chemical odor that was permeating throughout the hotel. The rooms had poor ventilation and poor air quality. The walls were dirty and even had some mold in a corner. This mold and poor air quality were very disturbing. I also saw a rat in the hallway. Gross and uncomfortable.

The location

The room was not clean, the bed had a huge dip in the center and was covered in dust when we arrived. The room stank of cigarette smoke and was in a really noisy part of town. The booking was not processed properly so when we arrived booking.com showed it had been confirmed and we weren’t even on the hotel’s system.

Location

The place looks very shady, rooms are exceptionally small, price is very high as per the facilities. FYI- It’s on the 3 rd floor and there’s no lift.
