10 Large Elegant Studio - Prime Location - Comfortable - Private

Good location, close to the seafront and regular buses into Brighton and Eastbourne.

Nothing major about the accommodation, more a litany of minor issues; particularly bedside lamp not working, couldn't turn on/off TV with the remote, broken blind, window didn't close properly.

Property was generally clean but noticed smell which we found was coming from sofa, had to spend 20mins cleaning sofa, as you can see from attached photos not good. decor looking a bit dated could do with a makeover, would not stay again

Location was good. The kitchen was clean but not well stocked ie. only one wine glass

The property was quite depressingly painted grey in the bedroom/living space. The bed had old and worn bedding and the sofa was beat up and had seen much better days. There were various holes in the floor where pipes had been removed so I was constantly worried about mice (as it is an old house). I did hear scratching and my dog was going bananas at one point so mice could be an issue. Made for an anxious night! It was quite expensive so thought it was pretty poor value for money.

It was very comfortable with a particularly good shower. It was well equipped with eg an iron and board, long mirror etc.

The decor was a bit gloomy but not helped by a gloomy day!

Great facilities, comfortable accommodation, very clean. Close to amenities and short walk from Hove promenade and seafront. Would love to return.

The large , cheerful open space with large windows was great. With a bit of tlc in many areas it could be so much better.

The flat felt neglected. Filthy windows, bedding had black dots on it..some moveable, some not. The bathroom floor wasn't clean. As someone else stated one of the blinds was almost impossible to use..as the string was shortened. The settee was past its best with quite a few paint stains. Other things ..as I stated to the host. I do believe if he spent a night or two here he would understand my..and other peoples concern..he could have a lovely place, but it's let down at the moment.
