The bedrooms are a good size, it had been cleaned. The parking is very useful.

It’s difficult because the big problems with this property are beyond the owners control. But they are reasons I wouldn’t stay there again. On arrival I had been given 2 codes for the lock box, they were both incorrect and I had to phone for a code. But the owner answered and gave me a code quickly. Inside the house does smell musty, maybe damp. The garden is a mess and the stay would benefit from a tidier garden. The big problem is the neighbours though. There was large gangs of young men hanging around, they actually parked across the end of the driveway and blocked me in for a while. As a solo female traveler it didn’t feel safe. They are also very noisy. I even tried changing bedrooms to the back bedroom so I could get some sleep but they were still loud.

Approx 15 min drive to Durham but you would need a car.

Given wrong number for key box, Messy garden, musty smell, uncomfortable beds. Door didn't close to bedroom curtains don't fit window in bedroom oven didn't work. Not in Thornley, but actually in Wheatley hill very noisy neighbours and yappy dogs, bathroom needs re-tileing/grouting needs mastic around kitchen. Sink currently badly done with oversized tape

Excellent location to where I needed to be and having a drive to park the makes life easier

9am check out is a tad early.

Bedding nice, towels ok. Good hot water supply.

Location on council estate not suitable for holiday letting. Property tired and shabby. Not properly cleaned, musty smell. Outside very shabby. Neighbour had TV on all night until 8am making for a very poor sleep. Bathroom very badly decorated and the door would not shut.

The fact it had a driveway for parking

Half the radiators don't get hot only luke warm. Cold house. Doors hanging off hinges. Old mismatched furniture. Downstairs bathroom just off kitchen. Bed old and uncomfortable. The place seems old dilapidated and in need of some repairs and modernising. The price for what you get. Holes in doors covered with strips of sticky pads. Bizarre I know. The host and the communication. I was sent a text message at past 10pm to re tell me to only use the heating for an hour and to return thermostat to off. Which I find rude. The rear garden is an utter bombsight. Curtains don't fit windows.

Good location. Old property but clean.

The lockbox was old. Kindly replace it. And please change the checkout time.
