Crown Point Home w/ Cowboy Pool 2 Blocks to Bay

The location is excellent. Seaworld was a big reason for our visit to San Diego and this was ideal. Property has a real home from home feel.

The Washing Machine was faulty but there is a launderette nearby so was no issue. Gave me a my daughter an excuse to have breakfast at the amazing Broken Yolk Cafe while the wash was on!

Die Lage war gut, zentral und nah zum Strand. Es war ausreichend Platz für 4 Personen, klein aber fein.

Ich weiß garnicht wo ich anfangen soll. Wir haben das Apartment gebucht wegen dem „tollen Garten“. Dieser war während unseres Aufenthalts im Juni in einem sehr schlechten und nicht nutzbaren Zustand. (Alles voller Laub und dreck, Pfoten Abdrücke auf den Polstern der Sitz Möbel, der „Pool“ war grün und der Grill war komplett dreckig. Die Krönung war ein Bienennest im Garten. Sehr Schade, weil wir genau deshalb diese Unterkunft gewählt hatten. Dass Sofa war voller Flecken und das Geschirr in der Küche teilweise mit Essensresten, sowie Flecken. Im Kühlschrank befanden sich ebenfalls Lebensmittel von anderen Gästen. (Ein absolutes No-Go) Die Brause der Dusche war defekt (Duschwanne) Man konnte nicht nur auf die Duschbrause stellen und so sind unzählige Liter extrem heißes Wasser aus dem Zulauf Hahn für die Badewanne auf die Füße gelaufen. Die Straße ist extrem Laut und die Fenster von den Schlafzimmern durch die Lüftungsrohre leider garnicht Schall isoliert. Ich habe dem Gastgeber dies alles geschrieben und für unseren schlechten Aufenthalt um eine kleine Rückerstattung gebeten, weil uns dies echt den Urlaub in San Diego ruiniert hat, leider haben wir keine Rückmeldung mehr erhalten.

Mi è piaciuto il parcheggio dedicato. La posizione, benché rumorosissima perché la strada è trafficata , è stata comoda per raggiungere i vari quartieri.

La casa, rispetto alle foto pubblicate, è abbastanza datata. Le camere sono minuscole e manca il posto per le valigie, anche perché i due piccoli armadi nelle camere erano piene di roba,credo dell’host. Il bagno comunicante tra le due camere è incommentabile, vecchissimo, la doccia non funzionava quasi per niente e la tenda era da paura. La cucina non pulitissima, abbiamo lavato tutte le stoviglie prima di usarle ed in parte era occupata da cibo, non so lasciato da chi. I servizi di cui dice di essere dotata non sono veritieri fino in fondo riguardo a piscina, barbecue e bici in quanto non messe in condizioni di essere usati dagli ospiti. Diciamo che la casa non é come sembra in foto e l’host è stato inesistente..

This is almost a 10/10! Location was perfect. Rooms were comfy. Lounge was a nice space as was the garden. Kitchen had everything in it that you needed. Shops and beach all in walking distance. Well, for us anyway. Good having a washing machine too.

10/10 would have been my score if these few tweaks were sorted from other customer reviews. A wipe down of the kitchen cupboards, once done it’s easy to keep on top of. The bathroom, very tired, when you put the shower on, the tap underneath runs! Must be wasting so much water. The kitchen tap is a bit faulty, but again wouldn’t be much to sort. The garden space was not looked after in my opinion. Just a sweep of leaves etc would make all the difference. We might have used it if we had stayed longer (only stayed 2 nights), we used the chairs outside as a clothes horse because there was no where to hang them. Im nit a fan of washer dryers. But managed to wash and dry stuff on two days. As i say these are all small issues really as easily sorted 😊

The location was very good. The house was clean and had everything that we needed. The garden outside is lovely.

The house could benefit from a better pool/ pool cover as the pool had lots of dirt, leaves and flies in it.
