The property was modern

1) had to get key from shop 2) no parking 3) rude neighbours 4) lots of stairs to get to apartment and wasn’t the sea view like shown on photos

"Excellent flat, great location and very comfortable"

The flat was very comfortable and was finished to a very high standard. It had everything you should need for your stay. The location was brilliant, close to the sea front and a short walk to the centre.

Flat is really very nice indeed - clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. Well located and close to the many amenities of Hove. Only 5 minutes walk to the seafront too.

In a lovely old building. Lovely fresh and modern decor. Great that it had a coffee machine.. Everything was provided so you didnt have to buy things like dishwasher tablets, coffee pods etc... Good location for exploring Hove and Brighton..

Parking is an issue if you are there for a few days and this adds expense to your stay. The apartment is on the top floor so ok for us but maybe not so good for people less mobile. For me the bed was comfortable but too small. The bedroom gets really hot if the sun is out so there needs to be a summer quilt option and a fan which I know the owners are aware of.

"Our favourite in Brighton so far!"

We loved this holiday 1 bed! Very comfortable and clean, with all the amenities you need. Hosts were extremely informative and attentive... clearly a lot of thought has gone into the letting. Right next to a lovely highstreet, where you can grab high quality coffees, and only a short walk to the beach.

Note for those with accessibility needs: there are a number of flights of stairs, but not unusual for Brighton.

The flat has been decorated to a high standard and it is clear that the owners have put a lot of time and effort into making it a nice place to stay. It really lives up to it's name. There is a very homely feel to it and it is nicely set back from the busier roads but still in close proximity to local shops, bars and the seafront. Matt's hosting skills were second to none, he couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome and despite him not being present, he was more attentive and easier to get hold of than some hosts living on site have been in previous properties. The kitchen was well stocked meaning we were able to cook meals, we were very impressed that there was a dishwasher and washing machine showing considerable thought has gone into making stays more practical for guests.

Parking - we had to park in a pay and display car park about a 10-15 minute walk away from the flat as the street parking outside is for permit holders only. Unfortunately this is not uncommon in Brighton and totally out of the hands of Matt and his Partner. However credit to Matt, this is made clear and we were aware of this when we made the booking. It's just a shame that parking in this area is an issue as otherwise, our stay here was perfect.
