Pheasant lodge - Balmaha 3 bed

The time for check in and check out could be better, check in at 4pm check out 10am would have liked to have had more time in the property for the amount we paid for one night.

Great location, comfortable everything you need in the lodge, kids loved it.

Beautiful setting, lovely local pub and shop, good hot tub.

Property in general need of refurbishment (sofas stained, kitchen floor tiles broken, aging fridge and freezer, damaged and stained wallpaper in bedroom). Living area appeared unclean upon arrival, including surfaces, carpets, crumbs in fridge and under microwave, as well as chocolate box and a pill under the sofa. Owner attended, apologised as the previous guests had been a hen party, and we agreed we would vacate the property to allow issues to be addressed - £35 pet fee waived, offer of drink at local pub politely declined. Later discovery of small plastic bag containing residue of pink powder next to hot tub - attempted to alert owner discreetly to make him aware of risk to others, did not receive response until the following afternoon.

Very comfortable and brilliant location
