Trendy in Tremont, CLE (Lower)

Good clean facilities, quaint neighborhood. Well stocked with coffee filters, oven kits, pots, utensils, appliances were good quality. Had parking for two cars in driveway. Host was responsive.

Very modern, up-to-date, and clean! Nice fixtures and appliances. Great decor featuring work from local artists. Very much enjoyed the vibe of it. Close to good food and bars in Tremont area. Very close to "Christmas Story" house. Fast communication with owners.

Single complaint is that the stairs are a bit awkward. The steps are narrow. We are quite able bodied so it was but a minor inconvenience, my clumsy partner almost bit it going down the first time, but for someone with mobility issues it could be more troublesome.

Everything went smoothly from booking to checkout. The unit was as described and even a bit better than described. Had no issues and everything we needed in terms of supplies and toiletries was provided. Unit was clean, spacious, beds were comfortable and owner was available as needed and was even able to accommodate a later than expected check in time. The location was great, on a quiet street with plenty of free street parking and there were tons of restaurants and stores, like Walmart, less than a mile away. The house from A Christmas Story movie is also just a few blocks away. It was less than a 15 minute drive to The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, downtown Cleveland, outlet stores, major movie theaters and to the Cleveland Clinic which was why we were in Cleveland. It really was a home away from home experience which we were grateful for since the Cleveland Clinic has one of the only 5 specialists in the country that treat my rare disease. As mentioned in the listing, the bathroom is on the lower level along with a washer, dryer and a quaint sitting area with an electric fireplace. I do have mobility issues but had no real trouble navigating the unit when using accessibilty items like my husband or a cane. Also on the lower level was the only thing my husband didn't like about the unit, the Foosball table, cause he never wins. Other reviews had mentioned that there was no TV in the bedroom so we brought an extra monitor but we didn't end up needing it as the bedroom is off the living room seperated by a sliding door and the TV mount is fully adjustable so we were able to just swing the TV out until it was at an angle that could be viewed from the bed. There were free live channels from the Samsung TV Plus app & other apps like Netflix could be signed into though we alwdyd bring our Roku anyway which was easily hooked up via an extra HDMI cord that was provided on the back of TV. The value is immense in comparison to local hotel rates.

Comfy, and a 5 minute walk to The Christmas Story House. Great shower.

Light switches are in weird places. But I know that’s from it being a remodel of an older house. Be careful with the hot water if you have smaller children. The water heater is turned up pretty high.

This was honestly a wonderful place to stay for the weekend! It was clean and modern, not to mention comfortable. The decor was super cute too, such a nice environment to be in. Everything worked as it should have and overall I really loved my stay here.
