"Bellavista penthouse" with glass elevator !

Bellavista Penthouse was ideally located within the walls of Lucca. I will never tire waking to the view of the mountains and rooftops. It had a lovely atmosphere and with the windows open you could hear the burble of people below during the day and early evening. You felt part of Lucca, it was very special. Guido was an exceptional host and very keen to make sure we made the most of our stay. I just wish we had more time to explore. We loved the penthouse, it was roomy, spotless and beautifully equipped to a very high standard. It felt luxurious and was extremely comfortable with beautiful bed linen.

Apartment is brand new and beautifully decorated and equipped. Completely clean, great location with fabulous views (see photo below). Guido was excellent with his communication and took great care to ensure everything was just perfect. Would definitely recommend and would book again if we were to return to Lucca.

The lift is currently being constructed (I understand due to be completed shortly), so various flights of stairs, and the hall area was a bit of a building site, so the lights in the communal areas didn’t work. This didn’t bother us in the slightest, but worth noting.

Spacious brand new apartment with amazing views in the middle of the walled city of Lucca. Walking distance to everything, 10 minutes to the train station, 5 minutes to amfiteatre. The apartment has washing and cooking facilities. Big bathroom with double shower. Guido was extremely helpful and met us when we arrived which is always a bonus to meet the person who owns the place. Plenty of things to do, foods to taste and just general wandering around this beautiful city, 4 days wasn't enough so we definitely will come back for more of Lucca.

What a great find this was! A stunning penthouse apartment in Lucca. The location, right in the heart of the City Walls, was ideal and the apartment itself was beautiful. Guido was one of the best hosts I have ever dealt with, he met us personally, gave excellent recommendations, and regularly checked in to make sure everything was perfect. He even provided complimentary drinks and snacks on arrival! The apartment was bright during the day and wonderfully quiet and dark at night. It was spotlessly clean, and every detail was of the highest quality, from the bed to the toiletries to the kitchen utensils, all top notch. We spent a week relaxing in Lucca and loved every minute of it. Departing was easy too, a small tap-on/tap-off bus leaves from the square outside the apartment about every 15 minutes to the train station. I highly recommend this apartment.

Freshly renovated and well located apartment in charming Lucca. Guido was an exceptional host who welcomed me personally. He was responsive and helpful with questions and suggestions. Always friendly and helpful. The apartment has been lovingly and beautifully renovated so it is comfortable and modern.

The lift will be a welcome addition when it opens!

Dieses Apartment ist absolut empfehlenswert. Toller Ausblick, tolle Lage, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber... Der Vermieter Guido war sehr hilfsbereit und hat uns viele Vorschläge für Ausflüge gemacht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Lucca sehr genossen, da alles fußläufig erreichbar ist und wir den Flair dieser Stadt lieben. Florenz, Cinque Terre, Pisa sowie der Strand von Vernazza sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen.

Bellissimo appartamento, molto spazioso e con tutti i comfort. Abbiamo gradito tantissimo l'accoglienza, l’host è sempre presente e si preoccupa molto. Inoltre la posizione è centralissima, ci ha permesso di visitare questa bellissima città in tutta comodità. Ritorneremo sicuramente!
