Everything. Location, facilities, decor, a lovely house

As we booked the property over the Christmas period, including Christmas Day, a tree of any sorts would have been nice.

This is a fantastic place to stay hence this being our 2nd stay - from location to facilities to cleanliness to pure quality.

We loved everything however if I was being picky, my only suggestion would be to either frost the front door glass or fit a blind to create privacy

The total comfort, the beautiful decor the well fitted out kitchen and the bathroom layout and the superb fittings and fixtures the overall care taken by the owners for the layout of the property

There was nothing we didn’t like but would suggest the following, an instruction leaflet on working the dishwasher, a clear note on how to open the shower door from the inside, we noted several people had commented on this also a pair of scissors and a butter knife would have been useful

The house is designed beautifully

The cattery next door is very smelly when you sit on the back garden and they can wake you up at night crying and neighbours clearly do not like guests parking on the street.

Lovely property for our long weekend stay with family to celebrate my dad’s 70th. The rooms were nicely decorated and was a pleasure to stay.

The stairs were a little steep for my dad. I think it should be mentioned as may not be appropriate for those less mobile or young children. I appreciate you cant choose your neighbours but the dogs barking and cat poo in the garden that my children stepped in wasn’t a highlight.

Well equipped kitchen + lots of welcoming extras like bread, biscuits, coffee etc.. Comfortable beds in very attractive and luxurious surroundings.

The stairs are steep and curved as you reach the top, and you need to be carefull coming down them. Additionally something is uncomfortably wrong with the stair carpet fitments. Whatever the cause? There are really sharp protrusions sticking through the carpet in at least 2 places. They feel like carpet grippers or nails and they certainly make their presence felt when stepping on them in bare/stocking feet.
